교수소개

■ 교수 소개 (INTRODUCTION)

우아영 교수는 도시 및 주택, 커뮤니티, 부동산 개발을 중심으로 연구와 교육을 수행하여 오고 있다. 주요 연구 분야는 주거취약층을 위한 주택 및 커뮤니티 개발, 주택 및 부동산 정책, 도시 및 지역개발 사업, 도시공간구조 및 건조환경, 활동적 교통 및 건강, 도시재생 및 커뮤니티 지속가능성, 공간 빅데이터 기반의 머신러닝 및 딥러닝, 계량경제 및 응용통계 기반의 다양한 실증분석 등이다. 또한, 그는 제일엔지니어링 도시개발사업부에서 다양한 도시계획 및 개발사업 (예. 지구단위계획, 도시환경정비사업, 주거환경개선사업, 도시개발사업, 재정비촉진사업 등) 실무경험을 축적하였다.

Prof. Woo, Ayoung is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Urban Studies at Hanyang University. His past and current research focuses on housing and community development, subsidized housing, equity issues in planning, urban spatial structure and the built environment, active transit and public health, urban regeneration and sustainability, quantitative research methods, geographic information systems (GIS), and big data and machine/deep learning. He has published refereed articles in Urban Studies, Cities, Habitat International, Landscape and Urban Planning, Urban Affairs Review, Applied Geography, Environment and Planning A, Journal of Transport Geography, Journal of Physical Activity and Health, to name a few. Additionally, he gained considerable professional practice experience at Cheil Engineering Urban Planning Division. Based on both academic and practical experience, he has integrated academic theories into the practical framework of the planning process.
